Let me tell you a little about myself. You may think with my nickname I’m a bit musical, perhaps a great tickler of the ivories (piano). But no, the sad thing is that I’m deaf. But it’s pretty hard to tell. In fact, my foster mom didn’t realize it until her husband, who is not a real cat lover, stated how much he liked me, because I was the only cat that didn’t scare when the shop vac, or the air compressor was on...Duh!
I was picked up by Animal Haven Rescue, when a lady south of Sedgewick complained that I was bugging her indoor cat, by staring at her through the window. I made myself at home in her heated garage & ate the cat food I found there. Thank goodness my current foster mom picked me up, because the lady was ready to have me shot. Really? Obviously someone who doesn’t appreciate a classic fellow like myself.
I came into the care of AHRL in 2016, was vaccinated, and dewormed. Since I was already de-maled, my foster mom tried to find my original home. No luck. So I went to live with her barn cats (if you call good food, excellent health benefits, a heated garage, and lots of love being a barn cat) The problem is that my foster mom owns 5 cats and always has another 5-10 foster cats coming and going. I hate sharing!!! And with my deafness, I tend to be unaware of any vehicles, dogs or coyotes that are in the farm yard.
I need an indoor home where I can live in my quiet world without any dangers.
I LOVE people! I snuggle, will tolerate dogs & cats as long as I get most of the attention.
