Meet Penny! Penny loves playing with string or lasers and chasing sunspots. Penny is a solitary kitty; the only attention she needs is a little scratch on the head once in a while when she gets to know you. She will follow you around occasionally when it is feeding time and will meow for a bit of leftover eggs. She likes a quiet spot to sleep and hang out away from all the excitement. Penny is a floor dweller and does not jump up on things. She enjoys a good scratching post but needs to be enticed to use it the first time. We are not sure if Penny knows that she is a cat as she makes chirping sounds instead of meowing most of the time. Her personality is somewhat comical after getting to know her. Penny would do best in an adult only home as she doesn’t like to be picked up and needs her own space. Although she does get along with kittens, it takes her a while to play with them. Older cats seem to be a threat to her and she feels she needs to show them who is boss by stalking them and cornering them. Penny deserves a place of her own without competition and where she can just be her own self.

Say hi to Zeus! His foster mom says he is the most affectionate kitty she has ever met. Zeus is a chatty boy who loves to play with the other kitten in his foster home. He really enjoys his cuddle time and looking out the window at the world outside. This guy is incredibly affectionate and wants to be involved in everything his foster parents are doing. He greets them when they walk into the room and loves to be carried around and get some belly rubs. Zeus has really come out of his shell and does great when meeting new people - adults and children.

Remember Sima the kitty found in a dumpster this winter? Look at him now! Sima gets along well with the other cats in his foster home. He lets them take the lead in introducing themselves and doesn’t try to rush it with them. Sima is very loving and enjoys pets, cuddles and attention from his people. He loves to play with toys, people and cats and is not fussy with his food. Sima would love a forever family of his own.

What can I say about this crazy cat, other than she has me wrapped around her little paw that’s for sure! Cleo has figured out how to open kitchen cupboards, so if I don’t feed her on time, she’s in the cupboards exploring. If I don’t go to bed at my usual time, she gets the zoomies. She is a very active girl and can get bored easily, so a friend her age or younger would be best for her. She definitely needs someone to help her burn off that energy. Cleo loves it when people come to the door because that means someone new will pet her and mention how cute and tiny she is, but she can be a sneaky ninja at the same time. She would do well with a large catio so that she can watch the birds and world go by. Cleo isn’t much of a cuddler or lap cat but when she wants cuddles, she will let you know! She loves giving head butts to show her affection and she likes giving loving baths. This beautiful girl is the most gentle cat ever and would make a perfect pet for a loving family.

Meet Samson! This sweet boy loves attention and will chat back to you if you talk to him. He enjoys looking out the window to watch the neighborhood cats and birds. Samson is an active boy and sure likes it when someone throws a ball for him to chase. He climbs like a monkey on his cat tree and loves to 'hunt' for his cat treats. Samson is used to a quiet home and would do best as the only cat or with one other accepting friend.

Maisy's foster mom calls her quiet and regal. She LOVES to have her belly rubbed and get her hair brushed. Maisy likes to curl up by her foster mom's head when she is in bed but is quite content to lay on the back of the couch all day or in her basket cat bed while her foster family goes about their business. Maisy is an amazing companion and does well in a house with other pets. She is dog savvy and will stand up for herself if the dog gets too pushy. Maisy actually seems to ENJOY meeting new dogs and is not afraid to introduce herself. Her foster family pet-sits so she is used to new animals entering the home from time to time and it doesn't upset her at all.

Say hello to Sage, the kitty who loves belly rubs. Sage is a smaller cat but makes up for her size with her playful personality. She is a little shy at first but will be an amazing companion for humans and cats in the home. She is the first to greet her foster mom after work and loves to wrestle, cuddle and play with the other cats in the house. She is not one who likes being picked up/carried around and would do best in an older child/adult home with other cats to play with.

Olson is fun, very sweet and absolutely enjoys a good cuddle. This gorgeous three year old boy is quite the charmer. In fact he can't do without cuddling and if you have a lap he will be on it. He loves to get kisses and gives plenty of them back. You will always have a best friend and shadow with Olson. He loves toys and will often be found keeping himself busy playing with them. Olson is great with other cats and children - he would love a family of his own.

Say hi to Jema! This girl is a real sweetie. Jema loves giving and receiving attention - she loves her cuddle time and pets. She is a playful cat and enjoys her toys and a good game of laser pointer. Jema is a diabetic cat and requires two insulin injections each day - her foster finds this manageable as Jema takes her shots like a champ with no complaints. Jema would love a home of her own with someone who will love and take care of her forever.

This little girl we named Midge was lucky enough to make her way to one of our foster’s homes in the -30 weather. It took a day to trap her and as a result she lost the tip of her ear. She was a bit unsure of people and other animals at first, but has come around and now loves to sit in laps and play with the other kittens. Midge has really come into her own at her foster home. She loves all of the cats and dogs that live with her and gets them to play whenever she can. Her foster mom says she likes everyone! This sweet kitten would love a forever home of her own!
